Silk Grade: 6A Grade
Hand Wash for Best Results
To prevent damage, hand wash it in cool water with a mild detergent designed
for delicate fabrics. Avoid scrubbing or wringing the fabric. Gently agitate
the water and rinse thoroughly with cool water.
Machine Wash with Caution
If machine washing, use a mesh bag and select the delicate cycle.
Always wash it in cold water to protect its integrity.
Avoid Harsh Detergents
Never use bleach or fabric softeners. These can harm the delicate fibers of
silk.
Spot Clean Silk
If a stain occurs, blot the area with a clean cloth immediately. Do not rub, as
this can spread the stain or damage the fabric. For grease stains, apply baby
powder to absorb excess oils before gently blotting.
Professional Cleaning
For stubborn stains or heavily soiled items, take silk garments to a
professional dry cleaner experienced with delicate fabrics.
Air Dry Only
After washing, gently press out excess water without wringing. Lay the fabric
flat on a towel to air dry. Avoid hanging silk garments, as this can distort
their shape.
No Tumble Drying
The heat from a dryer can shrink or damage the fabric, so always air dry.
Iron Silk - Use Low Heat
Set your iron to the lowest heat setting, often marked as “silk.” If the fabric
is dry, lightly mist it with water before ironing. Always use a cotton cloth
between the iron and it to prevent direct contact with the fabric.
